So you want to learn more…

Patsy Agpalza, LCSW

Hey! I’m Patsy Agpalza and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I obtained my Master of Science in Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Texas. I am a BIPOC affirming, anti-racist, sex and body positive, LGBTQIA+ therapist creating a safe place to explore gender-nonconforming roles, ethical non-monogamy, and trans and queer identities. I am kink and poly informed. As a queer therapist of color, I recognize there is no “right” way to live one’s life and each person has a right and needs to be seen and heard at the authentic level as an innate part of humanity.

I believe life is about connection, compassion, and acceptance of self and others. Every thought, emotion, and behavior that a person entertains is actively shaping their current reality. I have a strong calling to support others as they learn, love, and grow into their true selves and move away from patterns that are no longer serving the individual, actively exploring their individual interests and evolving needs.

I encourage open communication in our therapeutic process and asked for feedback often. Therapeutic work needs to be done in a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and honestly, even when speaking up can feel difficult or scary. Being open and honest about how you are feeling throughout the process is essential.
